The engine is coded in java and its main architecture is based on&amp;nbsp;Ian Millington's book, Game Physics Engine Development. Engine still contains some bugs on collision part. When a&amp;nbsp;collision is being resolved, interpolation resolution is carried out a little carelessly. This results in rigid&amp;nbsp;bodies being pushed into another rigid body while another interpolation is being resolved. However as can be seen from the video, the collusion detection and resolution steps are heavily bugged. Therefore the game could not be developed properly. The velocity resolution cannot take restitution into account properly. Performer is modeled as a rigid body of uniform rectangular box which is also used as bounding box of the performer. The game works on iOS platform using accelerometer results of the device to produce forces in the game. Cocos2D v1.0.1 will be used as a game engine. The game is developed using a Mac with Mac OS X v10.7.2 and the IDE is Xcode v4.2.&lt;br /&gt;The acceleration of the device in 2D space (z direction is not considered) is directly applied to the warrior's mace. Since the mace is shackled to the middle point of the screen with a spring behavioral force, its movement radius is limited. According to the mace movement, the warrior also moves indirectly, because the chain of the mace behaves as cable. Here is an application of cloth simulation developed on android. Also you can tear springs if you pull them enough. While programming in android you can use gravity sensors. Program presents the user a surface which holds a color density field and a velocity field. User is able to control these fields. By this way he or she can create interesting visuals. The color density acts as particles and moves along the velocity field. While particles with different color densities moving each other, some diffusion occurs. So in some parts, colors may blend. &lt;a href="http://www.dgp.toronto.edu/people/stam/reality/Research/pdf/GDC03.pdf"&gt;Jos Stam’s paper&lt;/a&gt; is taken as base model for implementing the fluid dynamics methodology, but since it is for smoke simulation it is not directly used. Related parts are used and some changes are done.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;You can add color density and velocity to the surface by the help of mouse. Right click for velocity, Left click for color density. You can select a color and continue to work on the surface with that color. Selected color is shown at the bottom of the window. You can change the selected color by clicking on it. User controls a character which is composed of springs. You can control two features about the character; movement direction and spring constants of the springs which makes up the character. The game is developed on an android device and written in java. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;The character is exposed to gravity but you can change the direction of gravity by changing the orientation of the device. By this way you can make the character move forward or backward. Gravity sensors are used for this purpose.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Touchscreen is used to change the spring constants. When you touch the screen the spring constant of the springs increase and when you release your hand spring constant decreases to a lower value. By changing the spring constants user can make the character make different movements like jumping.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;This video is captured on an emulator, since I did not know how to change the gravity on the emulator, gravity sensor is not used in this video. Also for this application emulator is slower than a real device. User can cut the springs or remove some of the rigid bodies and make the way for the entities. The game is developed with Eclipse and runs ok on my Galaxy S. This is my first experience for mobile game development and using Java is good to speed-up things. Its really good to have a easy interface to install your application to the phone, eclipse just outputs the necessary -single- .apk file. But when debugger is connected to the emulator program runs very slow, it is problematic to debug the program and I experienced some deadlock problems . &lt;/span&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px; "&gt;&lt;div&gt;The physics engine and the game-play part is separated and game uses collision callback to handle collision events. Game entities holds the rendering and game specific details while the physics engine and the rigid body classes are only using necessary data. Rigid body dynamics supports box and sphere shapes. Broad-phase collisions are handled via radius check and then the possible collision are &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Here is some of the physics engine features: Rigid Body dynamics, Force Fields, Gravity Keyframe Animated Bodies, Springs Collision listeners, sphere and box shapes, friction, joints, raycasts.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;There are 4 levels exist in the game. The first level is the tutorial part and you just click the entity to see the game's mechanic. The second level has a bomb attached to a spring. The game is about the endeavour of an intimidating fake Santa Claus trying to deliver Christmas presents to their belonging homes by throwing them and using help of various obstacles that impose several different physical phenomena. To succeed the level, all presents must be delivered to houses (falling presents in the range of the house is considered as to be delivered safely). The game is not a score based game. There are win or lose conditions only. Jack’s position is adjusted by the player. Wii remote adjusts the position of Jack. Pressing B will throw the present. Home button is used to exit. The development process was so painful due to several problems. First of all, finding an emulator compatible with GPU of my computer was impossible. Coding in Wii is completely different and tedious, documentation available on the internet is limited that makes debugging very time consuming and tedious. Below is a screen shot of the game. In game, user takes control of platform and let the ball find it's way to finish location and eventually save the marble from labyrinths.&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;In Particle Engine, Anchored Spring, Spring and specific version of Anchored spring to connect camera and marble is used. Furthermore, damping or friction and gravity is also used for both spring-ends. And particle fireworks is used when you finish your game. So there's also an additional force generator usage for Fireworks here.Marble is able to collect each Bonus because of my Particle Engine's Collision detection system.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;For rigid body dynamics, AABB collision and QuadTreeSpace is used. All models are imported to Panda3D and used in engine as TriMesh geometry and Sphere body. To load models to physics engine, for position and orientation, Quaternion values of loaded model is used.  For rigid body collision, collision bits are also used to define which object can collide with which object. However , due to limited time , only a subset of the features are realized.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In this version, all the entities are modeled as rigid bodies. The walls are modeled as static rectangular rigid bodies. Upon collision , their physical properties are not changed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The entity controlled by the player is a circle. The player input is translated as forces applied to the center of mass of the player entity. Every object is a particle or made up with particles. There are some spring like things used as rope and bungee. Gravity, friction, throwing forces are used. Some kimd of bounding box collision detection and resolving is used (althought there are some mistakes). &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm"&gt;It was a great experience to use real physics in a computer game. Player needs to transport the balls to the target positions&lt;br /&gt;as soon as possible.There are springs and ropes which complicate player's job. Especially springs cause the balls to move suddenly in unexpected directions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The game uses a rigid body dynamics physics engine to calculate the positions and orientations of the balls. The physics engine was developed on the class. All the forces and torques are calculated with the physics engine and then with forward dynamics all appropriate physical quantities are calculated. Moreover the collision detection is based on the system we have done in the class.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have learnt very important tasks of physics engine development. But in fact I have realized that this is just the introduction to the concept. This is a huge subject and ones shall slug on to learn.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have realized that if developer is using a engine which has a well-prepared user interface and which is stable the developing process of a physical arcade game is so feasible. User uses wasdqe keys to apply force on the ball in three dimensions. Players points are reduced by passing time and Amount of force applied on the ball. Points are gained by collision with the objects, and amount is proportional to the square of collision velocity. User can cut the rope by dragging the mouse across the lines.&lt;div&gt;There are 4 levels which can be started by pressing F1,F2,F3 and F4. The game features an adjustable gravity environment for your ragdoll fights. The player only controls the head of the ragdolls and the rest of the body moves according to the laws of physics and constraints set by the developer. The aim of the game is to hit the opponent as much as possible and after a preset amount of hit points the opponent will explode.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;The rules for hit points might be a little hard to grasp at first, but basically:&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Arms and legs have to parts (much like a real person) the upper and the lower parts. As you can see in the video the player is controlling the main character which is a hand. I've created the hand by taking photos of my hand while making some gestures and by playing them succesively as frames of an animated sprite. I've written the code in c++ and used OpenGL for rendering so as you might have guessed most of the coding time was spent on rendering billboard sprites, sorting them for alpha blending, handling input, etc. The physics engine I've built can handle sphere particles and rigid bodies represented as boxes or spheres. In the video you can see some box rigid bodies which are static, a bridge hung to another (non-colliding) rigid body using four cables, an anti-gravity force generator and some bubbles which are sphere rigid bodies that float (have negative gravity). The whole project was a lot of fun to design and code. Because of this there are lots of research need to be done before writing an application.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;First of all biggest problem is debug, solution for debug can be found on &lt;a href="http://wiibrew.org/wiki/User:Qiang0/Debugging#Using_gdb_to_debug_over_the_network"&gt;can't touch this&lt;/a&gt;. When you can do debug it is easy and fast to fix bug that occur while writing your application.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I wrote what i used on the previous post before, this showcase is still on that software libraries. There is no 2d engine library that truly supports wii. Hopefully there will be more to show in a few months later :)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the video you will see a scene with several platforms hanging on the terrain ( which is included in the collision system). These platforms are ( for now ) only clickable and they are used to create certain types towers. Since almost no type is implemented you will see only one type of tower in game. The terrain collision detection is handled by a bounding box divide and conquer algorithm which divides the terrain into certain number of bounding boxes that include certain amount of collision planes. This coarse collision detection approach helps collision detection pipeline a lot as you can eliminate any other object who is not in a bounding box of the terrain. Anyway, then what you will see is spawn place and a haven where you should keep those spaceships (3D model courtesy "3DRT" ) from entering. Bu duruma gelene kadar en fazla zamanı deneme yanılmalar sırasında kaybettim. Bir de biran önce sonuca ulaşmak için hard coded yazmak çok zorladı. Mesela bu şekilde tanımlar yerine &lt;br /&gt;collisionData.friction = (real)0.9;&lt;br /&gt;bir dosyadan okuma sistemi geliştirmek çok daha fazla işe yarar.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sorunlardan bir tanesi de platformun PC olmaması oldu. Emulatör bulana kadar inanılmaz yavaş ilerledim. The visualisation is done with the irrlicht's particle system. The only bridge between fireworks and Irrlicht rendering engine is a structure called "CoordinatePack" and as you might have guessed, it only has coordinates of the projectile so the visualization is completely abstracted. Hopefully it will be easy to switch to the Ogre game engine, should I want to expand the project further.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;By the way the demo follows this particular order: Bullet, Artillery, Fireball, Laser, Fireworks. "&lt;a href="http://www.wiibrew.org/"&gt;http://www.wiibrew.org&lt;/a&gt;"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;First of all we need development tools, from here "&lt;a href="http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Development"&gt;Development&lt;/a&gt;" we learn that there is a program kit called devkitPro, it provides us the standart libraries to develop wii programs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After installing and setting up the environment, all left is to open example project and run it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After studying the example project we see that its an unix like environment. So basicly if you know how to code programs in c++ to unix(linux?), you can port anything to wii.(Don't forget the limits of hardware of course)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Wii has an ibm cell processor and customized ati gpu. First you will see some ballistic examples in which all the particles are affected by gravity and some drag and then you will see the fireworks example in which new particles are created in a sequence. At the end of the video you can see a primitive snow effect which I've randomly created while experimenting for the fireworks sample :) Excuse the low frame rate in the video, the capture software I've used wasn't a very good one. There were 9 of us. Me as the instructor and 8 attendees. To note and appreciate them, the first attendees were Utku, Semih, Denizhan, Emre, Selin, Serdar, Serkan and Erdoğan.
